Winter is coming and we are ready to celebrate Christmas spirit. Of course, this is the most magical time for our kids. And it`s always an issue to make them not only watching iPads but doing some winter crafts.
And we have cool ideas for easy winter crafts. You can easily do them at home with kids of all ages, and be sure, you`ll be interested in our winter crafts too. Let`s have fun together!
Coffee filter snowflakes
We are starting from coffee filter snowflakes. Kids don`t drink coffee, but it`s a usual morning for adults to have a cup of hot coffee.
It`s a perfect winter craft for kids. Take a filter and create any picture you want. We advise you to mix different bright colors and fill all the space of your future snowflake. To make snowflake more adorable, take a paint brush, dip it into the glass with water and water down bright colors.
Wait for the filter gets dry, fold it into a triangle and cut any shapes on it with scissors.
The result is a magic snowflake with adorable, unique design. The more snowflakes you make, the less coffee you drink! But it`s worth it.
Toilet paper tube snowman
Oh yeah, it`s a super easy winter crafts for toddlers. And we couldn`t imagine the toilet paper tube could be so useful.
So, supplies need:
- Toilet paper tube
- Multicolored pencils
- Any ribbon or a piece of any material (for the scarf)
- Cotton wool
So, we have everything on our table. Give your kid pencils and a paper tube to draw a snowman`s face. It is some kind of winter art. When you see his mouth, cut a little scarf and wrap it around the tube. Cotton wool makes your snowman more realistic. You can use it for creating his hands or a beard, or hair. How says we should turn off our imagination. In case you have a collection of paper tubes, you can create a whole family of snowmen. Good idea, right?
Christmas wreath is a symbol of the most important holiday of the year. Your kid can draw it easily and this DIY craft is ideal for January crafts for preschool.
Take a paper and remind your kid that a Christmas wreath has a round shape. Then take a brush and dip it into water and green paints. Touch the paper with a brush going round (and you get a green wreath then with kind of pine needles). Then paint small red circles on your wreath. And the final step is glue a ribbon in the shape of flower at the bottom of the wreath.
And how can we forget about snow craft for kids.
- Good mood
Go outside, find a place with a whity snow, create ovals of different shapes, find the smallest oval and make it a face. Fill in the carrot in the middle of a face…you know what is that? Right, it is the best winter crafts for kids, a snowman. Happy Christmas Holidays! Have fun with your kids!
